Watson & Son 888+ Mānuka Honey 250 g

A Rare Number for a Rare Honey

In a remarkable meeting of meaning and nature, 888 is also the genuine MGO grade of the exceptional New Zealand Mānuka honey within.

The Maker’s Mark

An ode to the hands that craft our precious Mānuka honey. The fingerprint carried across the pack symbolises the human care behind every jar, while PureFlow™ gives the honey its exceptionally smooth, silky texture and distinctive taste.

3,000 Jars. One Remarkable Batch.

A limited release of 3,000 jars from the same batch. A gift of rare meaning, chosen to honour the recipient with a wish for prosperity, abundance and good fortune.

The Fortune of Triple Eight

The number eight has long been associated with prosperity, success and abundance. Repeated three times, 888 becomes a powerful wish for the future.

When Meaning Meets Nature

Here, 888 is more than an auspicious number. It is the genuine MGO grade of the honey within — an extraordinary natural measure of its potency.

What MGO 888+ Means

MGO measures the concentration of methylglyoxal, one of the naturally occurring compounds that makes genuine Mānuka honey unique. MGO 888+ confirms at least 888 mg of methylglyoxal per kilogram— approximately equivalent to UMF™ 20+ by MGO potency. It must only be described as UMF™ 20+ if the specific honey carries full UMF certification.

A Grade Nature Rarely Reveals

Mānuka honey cannot be made to order. Its character is shaped by the land, a fleeting flowering season and the conditions surrounding each harvest. From this already limited harvest, only select honey may, with time, reveal the natural potency required for MGO 888+.

A rare number. A rare honey. A wish for good fortune.

The Maker’s Mark

An ode to the hands that craft our precious Mānuka honey.

From Land to Maker

Native Mānuka flowers for only a short period each year. From this fleeting New Zealand harvest, knowledge, care and judgement guide the honey’s journey from its place of origin towards the finished jar.

Guided Through PureFlow™

Through PureFlow™, Watson & Son’s honey makers carefully guide the honey to develop its exceptionally smooth, silky texture and distinctive taste. It is a process shaped by patience, judgement and respect for the honey’s natural character.

Silky. Smooth. Distinctive.

PureFlow™ creates a honey with a beautifully smooth, silky mouthfeel and a rich, distinctive flavour. The sensory expression is the signature of both an exceptional Mānuka honey and the hands that guide it. Design note: Use slow-flowing honey, spoon and close-up texture imagery. Avoid presenting PureFlow™ as a clinical or industrial process.

Discover Its Provenance

Every batch follows a fully traceable journey from hive and harvest to the finished jar, connecting your honey to its place of origin in New Zealand.

A Gift Chosen with Intention
